My name is Jason. I cook. This is what I do. I'm told I do it very well.
I did not inherit culinary ability on any form. (My family's Irish, you see.) I had to work and study very hard for it.
It took a lot of people believing in me and kicking my ass to get me to the level I am today.
And now, thanks to the love and attention of a very special lady, I intend to polish and develop my career.

My education began at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts - Culinary.
Made a few friends along the way. Good people, mostly. And even the ones that weren't so good are talented individuals from which I learned a few things.
Learning an art doesn't stop with school, however. I was self-taught with the occasional catering or personal cheffing job, and continue to learn from the people I work with and for. Most recently, I've picked up an appreciation for Cajun/Creole cuisine, and hope to broaden my knowledge and abilities with each passing employment opportunity and mentor to train under.

Maybe one day I'll pass the favor along to others.
Take on pupils. Raise my Unholy Army of the Kitchen to take on the teeming masses of lesser food-slingers everywhere.
Don't warn Rachel Ray.
She's going down in the first wave.
