Chef
I am presently working as a chef for a three and a half-star restaurant with an open air kitchen. My duties are quite simple; I aid the best restaurant in town (quite literally) and make the best food available for public consumption. Through my innovations and hard work, I hope to add a fourth star to the kitchen soon.
Creations, Dunwoody GA
1/06 - 5/06
Chef, later wait/bartender
Creations is a five-star restaurant owned by the Art Institute of Atlanta, the kitchen run by Chef Darryl Shular, who is (last I heard) training to represent the United States in the World Culinary Olympics. The school required two quarters working with the finest dining possible, half of this time spent in the kitchen, and the other half in the front of the house waiting tables and tending bar for some of Atlanta’s most affluent. While not a true open air kitchen, the walls are transparent to allow any and everyone access to view us at work,. Employees (students) of Creations are periodically taped while working, giving me further experience cooking on camera.
